The company was involved in the design and development of "Penny Lane Realty" Corporate web portal, Moscow, Russia.
This portal is positioned as a vertical B2C(Business-to-consumer)-type portal that targets the realty market and servers the customers and partners, both corporate and private.
The portal is devided into two functional parts: the portal and the management module. The portal was developed with the multi-lingual support in mind. This support is provided through the localization module that automatically detects the user's locale. The menu system is universal and allows creating complex branching menu chierarchy. The menu structure is configured through the property file. The localization module is used for displaying the correct langauge in the menu and page caption.
The portal includes 8 sections, each provides the information on the corresponding department of the company. Each department is a separate structural entity, so the information is different, but they all share the common page/content design.
The portal's content can be subdivided into the following categories:
Static information (includes the HTML information, news, staff sites and vacancies) and dynamic information (realty lots). The difference between these categories is subtle, because all of the portal's content is modified via the management module, but the dynamic information is generated based on the criteria set by the user at the run-time.
